February 7
Why is my iPhone alarm so abusive? After being jolted out of my slumber at the ungodly hour of 5:30 a.m., I stayed under the covers for a while so I could cuddle with Logan. Eventually, I gathered all of my things, packed my suitcase, and managed to spare a few more minutes to just lie beside him before I had to catch my MegaBus back to Toronto.
This is always the shitty part. When the clock finally strikes, you wake up from your dream, and proceed to climb back aboard your pumpkin coach bus that transports you back home to real life. I don’t want to leave Logan. I don’t want this fairytale to end.
I slept a lot on the bus ride. Slept, played around with Photoshop on my computer, and, of course, thought non-stop about Logan. I’m not as sad as I thought I would be, but maybe that’s actually a good thing. Perhaps it’s because I am a bit more stable with things now? I don’t know. I’ve got to see Logan again, though. The sooner the better. Honestly, he might actually be the perfect guy. Could he be the one? I think so.
Mom and I are leaving for our trip out west tomorrow, so the next 12-hours are going to be a pretty quick turnaround. Once I arrived in Toronto, I stopped by the Witch Cave to grab what I needed for warmer weather – i.e., booty jorts – then drove up to Casa Z for laundry, more packing, and sleep. I guess this is also part of the reason why I’m not as sad about Logan this time, as compared to January. My mind is so much busier than it was a month ago. There’s a lot going on right now, which occupies time I would have otherwise spent thinking about Logan. Again, that’s likely a very good thing given what happens when I start obsessing over him.
For the first time since mid-December, I smoked weed at home. I feel relaxed. I’m classifying it as vacation mode – just a special treat. That being said, I actually do need to get some work done this week. However, that might be a challenge given the fact that I’ll be prancing around Fantasyland with Mom at Disneyland, and will then be drunk on Fat Tuesday slushies and Mariah Carey in Las Vegas for cousin Ashley’s family-style bachelorette.
How a simple weekend trip to see Mimi with Ashley turned into a full-on family reunion with every female relative is beyond me. That being said, it means Mom is now footing my bill. I’m not complaining. Bless.
Goodnight xo
